Chrysler Blue Pentastar Neon Clock

The Chrysler Blue Pentastar Neon Clock features a hand blown ring of real glass neon generating 25 watts of light. Featuring a glass face with chrome finished, multi-tiered art deco style rims and single ring of blue neon. The clock face is blue and white with black numerals. 'Chrysler' appears below the iconic blue Pentastar logo which sits directly in the center of the clock face on a white background. The quartz movement clock operates on one AA battery (not included). The neon light is powered by an AC adapter (included) that plugs directly into a wall outlet. The 15" neon clocks are easy to hang using commonly found mounting hardware. Please ensure you select the correct wall mounting method and hardware for the product weight, size and wall to be mounted on.

The Chrysler Pentastar logo was created by Robert Stanley, at the Lippincott and Margulies design firm in 1962. In the 1980s, the Pentastar adorned the hoods of Chrysler's minivans and cars and was also stamped on the ignition keys. The Pentastar largely disappeared after the German automaker Daimler acquired Chrysler in 1998 but was revived in 2007 when Cerberus acquired the automaker. The logo on Chrysler's cars today is a modified wing logo. Chrysler still has a Pentastar, but it now resides under the hood of almost every Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep vehicle that is not equipped with an 8-cylinder engine. In 2011, Chrysler began putting an entirely new series of engines in its vehicles. Dubbed the Pentastar, these V6s are available in the Challenger, Charger, Grand Cherokee, Pacifica, Durango, 300, and Wrangler models.
