Looney Tunes
Looney Tunes is a series of animated short films produced during the Golden Age of American Animation, alongside its sister series Merrie Melodies from 1930 to 1969. From 1942 until 1960 Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies were the most popular cartoon shorts in movie theaters, even more popular than Disney and other popular competitors. Looney Tunes characters include Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Tweety and Sylvester and many more. Looney Tunes has become a worldwide media franchise; spawning several television series, feature films, comic books, music albums, video games, and amusement park rides. Many of the characters have made and continue to make cameo appearances in various other television shows, films, and advertisements.
