Ford Trucks Blue Neon Clock

The Ford Trucks Blue Neon Clock features an embossed stainless steel effect background with 'Ford Trucks' appearing in the center of the clock's face. The top half of the face features the numbers in blue and the bottom half features red numbers. The neon glass tube is blue and looks amazing when lit up. Ford Motor company was launched from a converted wagon factory in 1903, with $28,000 cash from twelve investors. These investors included John and Horace Dodge, future founders of the Dodge car manufacturer. During its early years, the company produced just a few cars a day at its factory on Mack Avenue in Detroit. Groups of two or three men worked on each car from components made to order by other companies. The 1917 Model TT was the automobile manufacturer's first truck, which was rolled out nine years after the iconic release of the Model T, commonly touted as the first consumer car. The Model TT truck, according to Ford, could carry one ton of cargo and cost $600, which is the modern day equivalent of $11,915.72; not too bad considering the cheapest Ford Truck in current times could run you almost $30,000! By 1928, the year Ford switched to a different model, the motor company had sold 1.3 million Model TTs. As time went on, Ford pushed their trucks into the everyday lives of Americans, especially in the wake of the second world war.
